Zhu Jianping, Vice-Chairman of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, Inspects Changlu Group to Guide Industrial Reform Work

On the afternoon of June 12, Zhu Jianping, Vice-Chairman of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU), Secretary of the Secretariat, and member of the Party Leadership Group, visited Changlu Group to investigate the enterprise's industrial workforce reform efforts. The visit was attended by Liu Yueke, Party Secretary and Vice-Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Trade Unions; Hu Dagui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Qixia District People's Congress Standing Committee, Party Secretary of the District Federation of Trade Unions, and Chairman of the District Federation of Trade Unions; as well as Zhou Defu, Chairman of Changlu Group, and worker representatives.

During the visit, Zhu Jianping conveyed regards to the enterprise's model workers, skilled craftspeople, workers facing difficulties, and frontline employees.

The symposium was chaired by Secretary Liu Yueke.

At the meeting, Zhou Defu, Chairman of Changlu Group, reported on the development of the industrial workforce, improvement of professional quality, and incentive policies. He stated that Changlu Group had transformed from a near-bankrupt township collective enterprise into a global leader in industrial heat treatment equipment manufacturing. This decades-long development, he emphasized, has been inseparable from the cultivation of a skilled industrial workforce. "We have focused on building four key cohorts within our workforce—Party members, managerial staff, model workers, and military veterans—based on our enterprise's realities. These groups serve as driving forces in their respective positions, effectively propelling the company's rapid and stable growth," Zhou explained.

Worker representatives offered suggestions regarding the draft legislation on industrial workforce reform.

After hearing the reports, Vice-Chairman Zhu Jianping remarked that under Chairman Zhou Defu's leadership, Changlu Group has adhered to a people-centered development philosophy, prioritized talent development, enhanced employee competencies, safeguarded workers' rights, and achieved impressive innovative accomplishments. "The presence of employees with decades-long service stands as powerful testament to the team's cohesion," Zhu affirmed.
